We produce honey from bees that live in the pristine cloud forest and ecosystems that surround Volcan Baru. Here there is enormous biodiversity allowing us to harvest many rare unique single harvest and varietal honeys from the flowers of clean untouched wild plants.

What experiences are available?
We have a variety of experiences: Our butterfly house which is a 15 minute guided portion (can stay as long as you like); 45 minute honey tastings and honey wine tastings; 2.5 hour VIP Full Farm Tour that covers our Butterfly house, Honey Tasting as well a walk through our botanical gardens learning about native bees.
Which experience is best for families?
We recommend our butterfly house for very young children; Honey tastings are fun for all the family and our VIP Full Farm Tour is highly educational for budding biologists and kids that like to run amongst the flowers.
Do I need reservations?
You need a reservation for our Tasting Tours and Full VIP Tour. Our Butterfly House is walk in.
Where is Boquete Bees & Butterflies located?
We are 3 minutes from the center of town by car or a 20 minute walk. We are in Los Naranjos, our entry is to the right, just before the road divides infront of the ornamental lighthouse garden.
Can I visit multiple experiences in one day?
Yes we recommend the Full VIP tour if you want to do most of our experiences as this is a combined experience. The wine tasting can be booked in addition.
Are experiences available in English?
Our tours are offered in both English and Spanish
Is the honey produced onsite?
Yes you can order products on this page or you can call our office and we sent via all the major carriers all over Panama.
Can I order products online?
Yes our honey plant registered with MINSA is behind our offices and you pass by it on the way to our tours. Our mead plant is on the center of our farm. Our bees are kept all over the province of Chiriqui.
Do you ship outside Panama?
No at this time we do not ship outside Panama
Can I purchase products during my visit?
Yes we have a very large selection of all of our products in our farm store in Boquete. It is an experience in and of itself to visit our store.
Which products are made at Boquete Bees & Butterflies?
All of our honey products and mead products are made on site as well as some of our artesenal products.
Do you sell handcrafted mead?
Yes we sell a variety of handcrafted meads. They include traditional honey wine as well as honey wines made with fruit additions.
Are you Dog Friendly
Yes, you can bring your dog on our tours on a leash.
